The Women Against Cervical Cancer Campaign wants to
declare May Day a No Sex, We're British Day. Chairman Mrs Annabel
Geddes said: "We want women to deny sexual intercourse to
their partners on May 1 – the day traditional for the rites
of Spring – unless the man has written to his MP complaining
about the appalling state of the cervical screening programme.
